How it works
- Install the Chrome extension on your computer.
- Watch YouTube normally. Your other screens already know what's playing.
- Tap Resume here on any of them to pick it up. Tap again to hand it back.
No extension to hand — a phone on its own, or a screen in the kitchen? Paste a link instead. Everything else works the same.
Two things to know
Keep the screen on. YouTube stops audio when a phone locks unless you pay for Premium.
Nothing you watch is saved. No history, no analytics — just an account so you can sign back in.
On a Meta Portal
A Portal can’t install web apps the usual way — its home screen only lists real apps, so “Add to Home screen” silently does nothing. This is youtube-sync wrapped as one, so it gets a proper icon.
